The trend usually is that books turn into movies, but not to James Cameron. After the ridiculously huge success of Avatar, Cameron confirmed that he's planning to turn the story of Pandora into a novel. It sounds like Cameron will be using the book as a vehicle to give even more detail to the movie.
I'm not really sure what to expect from the book, but we'll see when it hits the shelves.
Avatar is still strong in the box office and continues to annihilate the competition. The film still held strong at the No. 1 spot, pulling in an impressive $68.3 million domestically and bulldozing the rest of the competition, including Sherlock Holmes which came in second with $38.3 million.
Avatar's earnings push it past the $1 billion mark globally, making it the fourth highest grossing film worldwide behind James Cameron's other baby, Titanic, as well as Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. And it's only in its third weekend in theaters so time will tell. Who do you think will be the biggest money maker? Avatar or Titanic?
Harry, Ron and Hermione are back for the final installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and they're still in pursuit of the remaining Horcruxes.
The movie is set to air on November 2010 and the second part will follow July 2011. Here's a sneak peek with a new teaser trailer.
To keep you in the New Moon spirit, why don't we take a peek on how the stars were before they were New Moon stars.
Robert Pattinson biggest pre-Twilight role was in the fourth installment of the Potter franchise as Cedric Diggory.
Kristen Stewart was little shocker to me. She made waves as Jodie Foster's daughter in Panic Room, as the older sister in Zathura and in Into the Wild and In the Land of Women, before her big break as Bella Swan.
I've been a movie buff for the longest time and while surfing over the net, I've found that IMDB list "The Top Rated Films of the New Millennium". That's 15 films since 2000.
