To keep you in the New Moon spirit, why don't we take a peek on how the stars were before they were New Moon stars.

Robert Pattinson biggest pre-Twilight role was in the fourth installment of the Potter franchise as Cedric Diggory.

Kristen Stewart was little shocker to me. She made waves as Jodie Foster's daughter in Panic Room, as the older sister in Zathura and in Into the Wild and In the Land of Women, before her big break as Bella Swan.  

Taylor Lautner was not this beefy guy, he was actually a scrawny little kid before his portrayal of Jacob Black. He had a role in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and also played a boy on the beach in an episode of Summerland.

Dakota Fanning is no stranger to the big screen, I've seen this girl grow. Her first big role in I Am Sam when she was only 4 years old. Her impressive resume includes War of the Worlds, Uptown Girls, and Charlotte's Web, to name a few, before turning into an all grown up as Volturi vampire Jane.  

Kellan Lutz showed up in episodes of Six Feet Under, Summerland, and The Comeback before becoming a Cullen.

Nikki Reed Nikki appeared on The O.C. and starred in six episodes as Ryan's girlfriend Sadie.

Jackson Rathbone made a couple of appearances on The O.C. and probably will have to go back soon.  

Ashley Greene chopped off her air to play Alice Cullen. Ashley appeared in episodes of Crossing Jordan and MADtv. 

Peter Facinelli's breakout role was Mike Dexter in Can't Hardly Wait. And you can catch him in Six Feet Under, Riding in Cars With Boys, and Damages.  

Elizabeth Reaser was first named Rebecca/Jane Doe from Grey's Anatomy.
